If you are not a perfect skier yet – the ski school “Top” run by your host is the best address if you and your children want to learn and practise skiing or snowboarding.

For children the ski school offers especially trained instructors and all-day child care.

The Obermanharthof is situated directly next to the cable car, the different slopes and the cross-country ski run, so you don’t need your car during your winter holidays.

And if you only want to enjoy the calm and the atmosphere of the area, our house, although just a 2-minute walk away from the centre of Westendorf, is the ideal starting point for winter walks and hikes in all directions.

Cosmopolitan and traditional at the same time, the alpine village Westendorf perfectly combines many aspects you need for a perfect holiday.

Skiers, snowboarders, cross-country skiers, winter hikers and tobogganists will find a winter sports paradise with many possibilities!

The Alpenrosenbahn, the local cable car, takes you straight to the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental, Austria’s biggest interconnected ski resort.

The 8-seater cable car “Ki-West” even offers a direct link with the neighbouring ski resort Kitzbühel/Kirchberg!

Broad hillsides and numerous slopes of all degrees of difficulty are awaiting you! Beginners will find easy slopes, advanced skiers steep slopes and deep powder snow, and snowboarders can enjoy themselves in the well-equipped fun park “boarders’ playground”.

Apart from that, Westendorf is a very family-friendly village; in winter the ski schools offer a lot for children: especially trained instructors, all-day childcare and numerous practice slopes.

But not only alpine skiers, others will find many possibilities to enjoy the marvellous winter in Westendorf too, such as cross-country skiing, tobogganing, ice-skating, curling, snowshoeing, horse-riding, hiking, or gliding over the snow and enjoying the wonderful winter landscape in a horse-drawn sleigh.
There is even a well-lit slope near the centre of the village at night!
